“There Will Be Blood” Even Better the Second Time Around

If you haven’t seen my pick for the best film of 2007, There Will Be Blood, please hurry up and see it on the big screen while you have the chance. Daniel Day Lewis’s performance is untouchable; and breakout Paul Dano does a commendable job keeping up with Lewis’s intense performance. Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood handled the haunting score, and Paul Thomas Anderson’s interpolation of Upton Sinclair’s 1927 creative nonfiction tome Oil! is riveting.

I’ve seen it twice already. At that price, I could’ve owned the movie on DVD – but honestly, its just that good.

Like the music you see here? Please support the artists. I like a lot of bands/singers/musicians who who don't get to enjoy the mega-success handed to less than qualified artists by major labels. So do your part; see a show, buy an album (c'mon, with iTunes it couldn't be easier), or at least visit their websites. Thanks. Oh, and if you represent one of these artists and want me to take a link down, please leave a comment and I'll honor your request.
